Step cooking
Knead the dough
- Pour 100 ml of milk into the stewpan, then send it to the fire to warm up to 40 ° C. Meanwhile, break one chicken egg in a bowl for kneading dough. Add 1 pinch of salt, 50 g of granulated sugar, 7-10 ml of vanilla extract. Beat the prepared components with a whisk until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
- Pour warm milk there with a thin stream and stir again until the sugar grains are completely dissolved. If the milk is at a higher temperature, then in the future the yeast will die and the dough will not rise. In the resulting mixture add 7 g of dry yeast, mix.
- Separately, sift 200 g of flour, after which we add it in two stages in a yeast solution. Carefully knead a homogeneous, viscous dough with a large wooden spoon.
- Melt over low heat 50 g of butter, and then let it cool for several minutes to a warm state. Pour the cooled oil into the dough and continue kneading manually. Knead the dough until the butter is completely absorbed into it. The finished dough has a rather liquid consistency and sticks to your hands.
- We cover the prepared dough with cling film, and then send it to a warm place for 1 hour. During this time, the dough should increase in volume by about 2.5-3 times. We stir the dough properly with a spoon to maximize the release of carbon dioxide bubbles.
Form and bake donuts
- Loose the dough into a pastry bag.
- Cut the tip of the bag, and then fill the donut dish with the prepared dough. We fill the form only half, because during the baking process the dough will rise.
- We cover the form filled with the dough with cling film and leave it in this form for 15 minutes. We heat the oven to a temperature of 180-190 ° C. We send the products to a red-hot oven, where we bake them for about 10 minutes. We take out the finished donuts from the mold and transfer to a flat plate, allowing them to cool.
Prepare the icing
- In a small bowl, pour 100 g of powdered sugar.
- Pour 10-15 ml of boiled water and 2-3 drops of lemon juice on top of the sweet component. Stir the ingredients thoroughly until a homogeneous, thick consistency is obtained. To prepare multi-colored glaze, we divide the white glaze into several parts, in each of which we add dye.
The final stage
- We cover the cooled donuts with glaze, gently lowering them on one side to a multi-colored, thick mass.
- Sprinkle the confectionery product with multi-colored powder, after which we give the glaze time to harden.
