Step cooking
- Pour one bag of dry yeast into a deep bowl, add 2 tbsp to it. l granulated sugar, mix the dry ingredients.
- Pour 100 ml of warm milk onto the dry ingredients (it should not be too hot).
- Stir the mixture again with a whisk, and then add 1 tsp. salt. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly again and let them brew for 15 minutes.
- After time, add the remaining milk (400 ml) and two chicken eggs to the yeast mixture, mix until smooth.
- Start adding the sifted flour gradually. Do not pour out all the flour immediately, since it can go a little more or less than indicated, because a lot depends on the quality of the product. Better add 1/3 immediately, mix the dough, and then add the flour to your liking.
- The dough should turn out soft, airy, stick a little to your hands.
- When you knead the dough, cover the bowl with a towel and leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. After standing a little, the dough should increase in volume several times.
- Since it turned out to be quite viscous and sticks to your hands, it will be difficult to work with it, so add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to the dough so that it does not stick.
- Separate the dough from the walls of the container, grease the table with vegetable oil, where you will lay out the formed balls for donuts.
- Tear off a small piece of dough from a common piece, roll a ball out of it (a hole in the middle is best done just before frying). Roll the balls from the whole dough, laying them out at a small distance from each other.
- Pour a lot of oil into a deep saucepan so that when they donut, they float in it. Heat the oil well.
- Spread the dough in small portions in a well-boiling oil. Donuts are prepared in literally 1-2 minutes, instantly increasing in volume. After frying, it is recommended to put the pastries on a paper towel so that the excess fat is stacked.
- When the donuts have cooled, they can be lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar. Also, honey, jam, jam, condensed milk or melted chocolate are perfect for such a dessert. Donuts are best served fresh, then they will be very soft and airy.
