- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Bell pepper - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 10 cloves
- Cilantro - a bunch
- Ground coriander to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step cooking
Marinade preparation
- Rinse and peel one medium carrot. Rub the carrots on a Korean carrot grater (long strips).
- Wash and dry a bunch of cilantro. Finely chop the greens. Combine carrots and cilantro in a separate bowl.
- Add a teaspoon of ground coriander and black pepper to the bowl. Add your favorite spices that go well with tomatoes, if desired.
- Peel and rinse the garlic. For a snack you will need 10 cloves. Also wash one bell pepper, remove the tail and the seed box. Slice the pepper into large pieces. In a blender bowl, mix peeled garlic and chopped pepper and chop them until puree.
- Chopped garlic and pepper in a bowl to the carrots. Salt to taste (add about 0.5 teaspoon of salt) and mix thoroughly.
Snack Formation
- Rinse tomatoes (10-11 pieces) under running water and dry. Cut them into 4 parts, removing all unnecessary. If the tomatoes are small, then just cut them in half.
- Put half the tomatoes in one layer in a food container. Next lay out the dressing layer.
- After it follows another layer of remaining tomatoes and dressing. Cover the container and refrigerate for 8-10 hours (preferably all night).
- Serve the appetizer by laying it on a plate and decorating with sprigs of fresh cilantro. The dish is ready. Enjoy your meal!
Did you know? The recipe uses tomatoes of the “Cream” variety - they are sweet and juicy, which is why they are great for an appetizer. But you can take any tomatoes that you like best. The main thing is that they are ripe and tasty.
