Vegetable preparation
- Grind two small onions into small pieces. Onions can be made of any desired size, depending on preferences: rings, quarter rings, cubes. This will not affect the final taste of the dish.
- Peel a small carrot and rub on a coarse grater.
- Heat the pan over high heat, add 2 tablespoons of refined oil. In a frying pan heated with oil, spread the chopped onion until a golden crust is formed.
- When the onion becomes transparent and gains a golden hue, add grated carrots to it. Fry it all together for 10 minutes until the carrots soften. After a while, turn off the heat and move the roasting into a separate container.
Liver preparation
- Cut one kilogram of chicken liver into small pieces. You can also use beef or pork liver.
- We put a thick-walled pan to warm up with two tablespoons of vegetable oil. Fry the chopped chicken liver over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
- When the liver changes the juice and releases excess moisture, add the prepared vegetable frying to it, mix thoroughly and simmer it all together for a couple of minutes.
- Add 500 ml of liquid 20% sour cream to the liver with vegetables, mix it thoroughly with the ingredients.
- Pour 2 tablespoons of white wheat flour there, continue to stir the dish and simmer for 3 minutes on low heat.
- Pour 100 ml of boiled water into the pan. At the same stage, the liver should be salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add spices and herbs. Mix everything and simmer under a closed lid for another 10-15 minutes. After turning off the fire, let the dish stand for a while. Then serve to the table with any desired side dish.
