Step cooking
The recipe describes the phased preparation of a delicious pilaf with pork in the multicooker Polaris.
- Peel the onions (1 pc.), Cut into small strips.
- Wash and peel the carrots (500 g) well, cut into strips.
- Wash the pork meat (pulp 500 g). Cut into medium sized cubes.
- Set the “Frying” mode on the Polaris slow cooker, specify the time - 30 minutes, at the rate of 5-7 minutes for frying vegetables, the rest of the time - for frying meat. Later time can be adjusted. Click the "Start" button. Pour vegetable oil (40-60 ml ml) into the multicooker bowl. Wait for the signal from the multicooker to reach the set temperature mode.
- Pour the chopped onion into the oil, fry the onion until transparent, stirring for 2-3 minutes.
- Add carrots to the onion, fry, stirring with a spatula, fry the onions and carrots for 3-5 minutes until the carrots are browned.
- Put the chopped pork pulp into the multicooker bowl, salt to taste, fry with stirring for 10-15 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
- Rinse white long-grain rice (2 multi-cups) in cold water. Sprinkle evenly over the meat without stirring.
- Sprinkle a layer of rice with seasoning “For pilaf” (to taste). Wash the head of garlic, push it into the rice layer in the center of the bowl. Pour rice with hot drinking water (4 multi-cups), pour water through a slotted spoon (or onto a spatula) in the center so as not to erode the rice layer. Salt to taste.
- Close the lid of the multicooker Polaris, set the mode "Pilaf" (or "Extinguishing"), press the "Start" button. Set the timer for 40 minutes.
- After the signal to end the mode, turn off the crock-pot, open the lid, mix the pilaf.
- Close the lid, let the pilaf infuse for 20-30 minutes.
Serve pilaf as hot as your own dish, with herbs and vegetables. Cooking pilaf in a slow cooker greatly simplifies the cooking process, minimizes the time spent standing at the stove. The active cooking time is for the preparation of ingredients and frying, and the whole process of extinguishing is in a slow cooker without the participation of a cook.
