Step cooking
- We peel 400 g of onion from the husk and crumble it with not very large cubes.
- Wash, peel and cut into slices 400 g of carrots.
- Pork cut into small pieces. We need her 600 grams. It is advisable to choose not very fatty meat. If there is a lot of fat, it is better to cut it off.
- In a multicooker bowl, pour the vegetable oil so that it completely covers the bottom. To do this, you need about 50-70 g.
- We start the multicooker: in the menu, select the "Frying" mode, set the time to 20 minutes. and click "Start." We wait until the oil warms up, it will take a couple of minutes, and pour the onions and carrots into the multicooker. Fry them, stirring occasionally, for 7 minutes. At this time, we observe how the onion gains transparency, and the carrots characteristically darkens, which means the degree of their readiness we need.
- After 7 minutes, add meat to the slow cooker, mix and fry with vegetables, again, do not forget to stir occasionally. During frying, if you think that the oil is not enough, you can add it. It is important that it be enough so that the process can be called hot.
- While the meat is being fried, we will take up rice. Rinse 3.5 multi-cups of long-grain rice 3-4 times until the water becomes clear. We return to what is fried in a slow cooker. It's time to add spices so that they also have time to warm up in oil and give it all their aromas. We pour 2 tablespoons of special seasoning for pilaf, which contains a whole set of herbs that give the dish of oriental cuisine a unique spicy aroma.
- At the end of the 20 minutes for which we programmed the slow cooker, add a tablespoon of salt to the dish, mix well.
- Gently pour the washed rice, level it over the entire surface so that meat and vegetables are not visible. Salt again - this time you need about a teaspoon of salt. Dip 3 large cloves of garlic in rice.
- Fill with five multi-glasses of water. We try to pour carefully so that the water does not erode the grits. To do this, you can substitute a slotted spoon under the stream of water, which will disperse the wide stream.
- Close the multicooker lid, select “Pilaf” mode in the menu, set the time to 40 minutes and press the “Start” button.
- After 40 minutes, open the slow cooker, mix the contents so that the rice, located on top, mixes with meat and vegetables, and admire the result: the pilaf turned out to be beautiful, with friable rice, and its aroma is simply enchanting.
