Step cooking
- Pour warm milk (250 ml) into a deep bowl. Milk temperature 36-38 ° С. Pour sugar into milk (1 tablespoon), stir until dissolved.
- Crush baking yeast (25 grams) into a bowl. When buying yeast, pay attention to the production date and expiration date. The fresher the product, the more magnificent the baking will be.
- Stir the contents of the bowl until the yeast is completely dissolved. Add salt (pinch) and chicken egg (1 piece) to the bowl. Stir well. Sift wheat flour (350 grams). Add flour to milk with diluted yeast in small portions.
- Knead the mixture with a fork, spoon or culinary spatula. When the dough becomes thick, knead it with your hand. The resulting dough has a viscous consistency. So it should be, it is from such a test that the pies are soft.
- Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel or tighten with cling film. Put in a warm place for 15-20 minutes to make the dough fit.
- Sprinkle a cooking mat made of silicone or plastic with flour (from the remaining 100 grams). Separate small pieces of the same size from a suitable dough. You can roll out a roller from part of the dough and divide it into parts. From the pieces, form balls with a diameter of 4-5 cm. From the smaller balls, small pies are obtained, from the large - large.
- Roll the resulting workpieces into cakes 6-7 mm thick using a rolling pin. You can do it with your hands. Put potato filling (500 grams) in the middle of each dough cake. Put the filling as you wish, from 1.5 to 2 tablespoons.
- Pinch the edges, giving the workpiece a pie shape. Ready patties let go for 10-15 minutes. Cover the product with a kitchen towel.
- Turn on the slow cooker. Select the "Frying" mode, set the timer for 45 minutes.
- Pour vegetable oil (part of 150 ml) onto the bottom of the multicooker bowl, it should cover the bottom of the bowl by 1-1.5 cm.
- After the signal to set the temperature necessary for frying, put a few pies on the bottom of the bowl. Do not put the products tightly, let the pies fry on all sides. 3-5 pies are included in the bowl.
- Fry the pies until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes on one side. During the frying process, add new servings of vegetable oil to the multicooker bowl. To remove excess fat after frying, lay the pies on a paper towel.
