Step cooking
- We make a dough, which we will then use to knead the dough. To do this, add 250 ml of warm milk, 1 tbsp. To the container. l sugar, 10 g of dried yeast and 3 tbsp. l flour. Mix everything thoroughly. Cover the dough with a dishcloth and set in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- When the dough “fits”, add 2 yolks, 4 tbsp. l sugar, 0.25 tsp salt and mix it all thoroughly with a whisk.
- Then, one by one, we start adding flour and vegetable oil to the dough in small portions, stirring it every time after adding such “portions”.
- When all the flour and butter have "left", cover the dough with a kitchen towel and set in a warm place for 1 hour.
- At this time, I wash the apples (3 pcs.), Peel, cut out the core of them and cut into small cubes.
- After 1 hour, when the dough "fits", sprinkle the board (or silicone mat) thoroughly with flour (you will need about 100 - 200 g) and knead it until it is firm and elastic.
- We divide the dough into 2 parts, roll each of the parts into a plump “sausage” and divide it into several more identical parts (about 6-8).
- Each of the pieces is rolled out using a rolling pin into a small cake about 3 mm thick. On top of the cakes we put a small "slide" of diced apples and sprinkle it with sugar to taste (about 1.5 tsp. On one "slide").
- We connect the opposite edges of the cake with each other, forming a pie (note: put such a quantity of filling so that you have at least 4 - 5 mm of free space at the edges and you can easily “close” the cake).
- We spread the resulting pies on a baking sheet, previously covered with parchment paper. Top with a silicone brush, grease them with a mixture of 1 yolk and 1 tbsp. l milk.
- We send a baking tray with pies into an oven preheated to 180 degrees (at an average level) and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, we take out the ready-made pies from the oven, let them cool down a bit and proceed to the meal. Enjoy your meal!
Decoration and serving
For a more spectacular look, you can sprinkle the pies on top with sugar or icing sugar (to coat the baking with icing sugar evenly, sift it through a sieve or gauze). We should also not forget that you can form a cake of absolutely any shape to your taste and disposition: a square, a triangle, an oval, etc. Serve such a treat with tea or warm milk.
