Step cooking
- We send 100 g of butter to a convenient dish and melt in a microwave or in a water bath. Butter can be replaced with margarine. But remember: the better the product, the tastier the pies will be.
- Using a mixer, beat 2 eggs until foam. Add to them 0.5 tsp. soda, 3 tablespoons of sugar, melted butter, beat until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour. To get a pleasant aroma, you can add vanilla sugar. First, mix the mass with a mixer. Then, when it becomes dense enough, knead with your hands. At this stage, approximately 300 g of flour will be needed. To make the dough elastic, obedient, soft, knead it for about 5-7 minutes.
- Then add 250 g of cottage cheese to the test. Mix everything well, gradually add the flour, it will take about 50-100 grams more, it depends on the humidity and fat content of the cottage cheese. Take any cottage cheese, the main thing is that it be of the first freshness, do not have a pronounced sour taste. Knead the dough for several minutes to make it elastic, obedient.
- Send it into a bowl, cover with cling film and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
- After this time, we knead a little rested dough. Then we roll it with a layer of about 5 mm and cases round, the same shape. A special shape with a diameter of about 6 cm will help to make them.
- We spread jam or jam on one side of the cake.
- Fold the dough in half, fasten the tips well with a fork. So you will be able to tightly fix the workpiece and give it a beautiful shape. Repeat this procedure with the whole test.
- We cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out the blanks of the pies. We send to the oven, preheated to 180-200 degrees, bake for 15-20 minutes. The baking time will depend on your oven.
- After 15 minutes, be sure to check the pies for readiness. If they become rosy, then it's time to get it. We get the pies, cover them with a towel, let cool for 5-10 minutes. Then put it on a large, flat plate and serve.
