- Now one egg, a teaspoon of salt, and five tablespoons of sugar are added. The mixture is mixed.
- Then all flour is poured, but in several approaches. After adding each portion, you need to thoroughly stir the resulting mass.
- When all the flour has been added, the resulting dough must be thoroughly kneaded and formed into a circle. Now a large bowl needs to be greased with sunflower oil, after which the dough is placed in it. The bowl is covered with a towel or cling film. After this, the container needs to be rearranged in a warm place so that the dough rises. This process takes 1 to 2 hours.
- To make the filling in a small bowl, you need to mix all the poppy seeds, raisins and walnuts, divided into small pieces. Two tablespoons of sugar are poured into the filling, after which the mixture is thoroughly mixed until smooth.
- When the dough is fully raised, it needs to be shaped like a thick longitudinal roll. And then cut into smaller parts so that this segment is enough for the formation of the pie.
- From the cut pieces, ovals are formed, in the middle of which the filling is placed, about two teaspoons each.
- Next, two opposite edges are folded around the filling, and their joints are pressed with their fingers until tight bonding.
- Now, on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, stuck blanks are laid out. After the last pie is laid on paper, they need to stand for 20 minutes to make the dough come up.
- At this time, the oven starts to heat up, and the second egg breaks into the bowl and thoroughly whips. After 20 minutes, the patties are smeared with a beaten egg.
- At the final stage, the pan moves into the oven. The baking time of pies with poppy seeds is 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C.
