Step cooking
Cheese Pita
- First, prepare the filling. We wash a bunch of green onions, cut very finely and send into a deep bowl. From greens you can take cilantro, dill, parsley. Then we wash the garlic greens or one clove. Finely chop the greens, or pass a clove through the garlic, send to chopped onion. Then we rub the cheese on a coarse grater and send to the greens. Cheese can use any hard varieties. Choose the one that melts well. Alternatively, you can use mozzarella cheese.
- We drive 2 eggs into a small bowl, add salt and pepper to them to taste, beat with a fork or whisk until foam is formed. If you wish, you can add any seasonings as you wish. Pour the eggs to the filling, and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Now cut the pita leaf into portioned rectangular pieces. Their size will depend on what kind of pies you want to get. Closer to one edge, lay out a teaspoon (or a tablespoon, depending on size) of the filling and wrap all the edges so that it is not visible. In the photo you can see how to wrap pies from pita bread.
- We repeat this procedure with all the pita bread and the filling. We put the pan on the fire, grease it with vegetable oil, spread the pita bread. It is very important that you simply grease the bottom of the pan and not pour oil. So the pies do not absorb excess fat, turn out crispy. Fry on both sides until golden brown. After frying, the crust becomes crispy, the cheese melts, the prepared pies turn out to be very tasty, juicy. It is better to eat still warm immediately after cooking. The cooled pies can be heated in the microwave for literally 1 minute.
Lavash with sweet filling
- For sweet fillings, you can use any berries. We cooked from frozen black and golden currants. In 300 g of thawed berries, pour 2 tbsp. l sugar, mix. Then cut the second pita bread in portions, put the filling on each and wrap it so that the filling is completely inside.
- We put the pan on the fire, grease its bottom with vegetable oil and spread the billets. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Ready cakes are served with your favorite drink. Enjoy your meal!
