Step cooking
- Preheat milk to 35-36 °. Add sugar and yeast to warm milk, mix well until completely dissolved.
- In a deep bowl, in which you will knead the dough, sift the flour, add salt and mix.
- Add yeast and sugar, vegetable oil diluted in milk to flour.
- Knead the dough. First stir with a spoon, then you can help yourself with your hands. It is important to knead the dough well, it should be elastic and not clogged.
- Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and leave in a warm place for 35 - 40 minutes. It should come up and slightly increase in volume.
- For the filling, you must first boil hard-boiled eggs, cool and peel.
- Then finely chop the young onion.
- Cut the eggs into small cubes. If desired, you can add another finely chopped greens - dill, parsley or cilantro.
- In a separate container, mix crushed eggs and onions, add sour cream, salt, pepper and other spices to taste.
- Mix the resulting mass.
- After the dough is separated, you need to get it out of the bowl, put it on a piece of parchment paper and divide it into two parts. On the same paper, roll one part into a circle 5 - 7 mm thick.
- Transfer to a baking sheet with parchment. Cut another piece of paper and roll out the exact same thickness and diameter of the second circle from the remaining dough.
- On the dough, which is on the baking dish, spread the filling evenly, stepping back from the edges of 1 - 2 cm.
- Cover the filling with a second cake.
- Pass your fingers along the edges of the pie, thereby well connecting the layers of dough. To make the rim more artistic and beautiful, you can walk along the plucked edge with a fork, so the rim will be embossed. Or lifting the edge of the dough, lightly and at an angle, wrap it on the top of the side. So you get a very interesting pigtail.
- Make a small hole in the middle of the cake so that excess moisture comes out.
- Grease a pie with a beaten egg and put in the oven. Bake the cake in a preheated oven to 180 °, 30 - 35 minutes. If the cake is lightly browned on top, you can cover it with a sheet of parchment or foil.
- Take out the finished cake, cover for 10 - 12 minutes with a clean towel and let it rest. Then cut into portions and serve. You can make a sauce for such a pie and serve with the sauce.
