Ingredients
- strawberries - 1 kg
- eggs - 2-3 pcs.
- flour - 250 g
- sugar - 150 g
- vanilla sugar - 20 g
- sour cream 15-20% - 250 ml
- vegetable oil (odorless) - 50 ml
- baking powder - 2 tsp.
- salt - a pinch
- powdered sugar (for sprinkling) - 1 tsp.
Step cooking
- Before you start cooking, take 1 kg of strawberries, wash it thoroughly, then drop it in a colander and let the water drain.
- First of all, you need to take 2 large or 3 medium chicken eggs and beat them with mi
- Next, continuing to beat, add a pinch of salt and 120 g of granulated sugar to the eggs. Pour the sugar gradually, after which add another 20 g of vanilla sugar, it will give the dish a wonderful aroma. Beat the eggs until they are lighter and lush.
- Next, add 250 ml of sour cream with a fat content of 15-20%, as well as 50 ml of odorless vegetable oil to beaten eggs, and then beat all the ingredients again until smooth.
- Sift 250 g of wheat flour into a separate container and mix with 2 tsp. baking powder.
- Mix with sour cream and eggs and begin to beat again with a mixer at low speed, gradually adding sifted flour with baking powder. Beat the dough until it becomes homogeneous and without lumps.
- Prepare a baking dish and cover it with parchment paper, then pour half the dough into this mold.
- Cut half of the strawberries from 500 g finely enough, and just cut the other half in half.
- Sliced finely chopped strawberries into the dough, distributing it evenly, and then fill with the remaining dough.
- On top of the dough, lay out 250 g of strawberries cut in half, squeezing it a little inside. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance, then send the strawberry pie to bake for 50 minutes.
- While the strawberry pie is in the oven, you can also make strawberry sauce. To do this, beat 400-500 g of strawberries in a blender and add 30 g of granulated sugar to it. The amount of sugar can be changed depending on your taste preferences. If desired, sugar can be omitted altogether or replaced with honey.
- Remove the finished cake from the oven and let it stand for half an hour so that it cools down, then carefully use a knife to go around the edges to disconnect the dough from the mold.
- The cooled cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar a little, cut and serve with strawberry sauce.
