Ingredients
Whole Grain Flour | 250 g |

Olive oil | 30 ml |
Cabbage | 300 g |

Eggs | 3 pcs. |
Milk | 100 ml |
Cheese | 30 g |

Caraway | 0.5 tsp |
Thyme | 0.5 tsp |
Step cooking
Dough
- In a deep bowl, combine 250 g of whole grain flour and 100 ml of water, knead.
- Then pour in 30 ml of olive oil.
- Knead thoroughly until a uniform bowl is formed. The dough turns out taut.
- Next, we roll out the resulting ball with a rolling pin into a very thin layer 1 - 2 mm thick.
- Using a rolling pin, transfer the rolled dough into a baking dish with a diameter of 26 cm. Be sure to make the sides. It is not necessary to cool such a dough, just leave it on the work surface.
Filling
- Let's prepare the filling. Cut the onion into thin half rings.
- Pour 1 tsp into the pan. olive oil, heat over medium heat and fry the onion until golden brown.
- Any mushrooms can be used, but forest mushrooms have a rich taste and aroma. 200 g of mushrooms are cut into small pieces and sent to the onion, fry for 8 - 10 minutes. If you use mushrooms, fry them for 5 minutes.
- Wash the cabbage, remove the top sheets and cut into thin strips.
- Add the cabbage to the pan to the rest of the ingredients. Pour 3 tbsp. l water, cover and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes over low heat, periodically adding water and stirring. Cabbage should be soft.
- Crush one clove of garlic with the flat side of a knife and finely chop. Add it to the cabbage.
- Finely chop the parsley, we don’t use the stems, since they are too hard, we send them to the pan.
- At the very end of cooking vegetables, salt, pepper to taste, add 0.5 tsp. caraway and thyme. The filling for the pie is ready, then we will prepare the filling.
Pouring and pie forming
- Drive 3 eggs into a deep bowl, add 100 ml of milk and a pinch of salt to them, beat with a whisk.
- Then rub 30 g of any hard cheese on a fine grater.
- Next, we form a cake. Put the cooled filling on the dough, evenly distribute it around the entire perimeter of the dough.
- With a knife, we cut off the excess dough on the sides of the mold, as it will become hard in the oven.
- Fill with the prepared filling and a spoon mix the cabbage stuffing with mushrooms with egg filling.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese.
- The cake is sent to the preheated oven to 180 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes until a golden crust is formed. Cool the finished cake, transfer to a beautiful plate or dish and serve. Enjoy your meal!
