Step cooking
Test preparation
- Add 500 grams of wheat flour to a deep bowl through a sieve. We drive in a chicken egg there, pour a teaspoon of granulated sugar and two teaspoons of table salt. Mix all the ingredients until smooth.
- Pour 250 ml of warm water (approximately 35 degrees) into a small container. It should never be hot. Add 21 g of yeast to it, mix and leave to dissolve for 5-10 minutes. Yeast should dissolve and begin to act. Add the brewed and fully dissolved yeast to the test.
- Mix the mass with a mixer. Additionally, the dough needs to be kneaded with your hands so that it becomes soft, elastic and without lumps.
- Cover the kneaded dough with polyethylene or a clean towel and leave in a warm place for 1.5 hours. During this time, the yeast will react, the dough should rise and increase in volume.
Preparing the filling
- We heat the pan with 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil, fry 500 grams of ground beef on it for 5 minutes. You can use any mincemeat, however it is beef that will most resemble the taste of the usual cheeseburger patties.
- Cut pickled salted cucumbers (3 pieces) into thin slices.
- We clear one onion and chop finely into cubes.
- Hard cheese (150 grams) is rubbed on a coarse grater. Tomato sauce (150 grams) can be taken ready-made - store ketchup, adjika or any sauce with spices. And you can do it by yourself putting out 100 grams of tomato paste with chopped garlic, a teaspoon of sugar and two tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Shaping and baking
- After a while, we take out the dough and divide it into two parts: one is bigger, the second is smaller.
- Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out most of the dough on it so that it covers the cake mold and its wall. This will be the basis for a cheeseburger.
- We lay out the rolled layer in a baking dish, forming the bottom and walls of the product.
- We spread the fried ground beef on it, carefully distribute it on the surface and slightly tamp.
- Apply evenly 150 grams of tomato sauce on top.
- Put the diced onions in the next layer.
- Pickled cucumbers, sliced in thin plates, spread on the entire surface of the pie.
- Sprinkle with a layer of grated hard cheese.
- We close the filling with a rolled layer from the remaining piece of dough. We firmly fix the edges of the cake.
- We cover the surface of the product with two tablespoons of milk using a pastry brush. We pay special attention to the place of the seam, generously lubricate it so that its integrity is not disturbed during baking.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top (1 tbsp. L.).
- We send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
