Step cooking
- The first thing to do is let the spinach in boiling water and boil the young cabbage a little. You need to do this separately, since spinach lasts 1 minute, and the cabbage needs to be held in the water a little longer. Pour about 1 liter of water into the pan, bring to a boil, dip the thoroughly washed spinach greens into the water and hold for 1 minute. After that we take out the spinach and immediately throw it back into a colander. If you want spinach to retain its fresh color, rinse immediately with cold water after you remove it.
- In the same water we drop coarsely chopped young white cabbage. Very coarse parts are best avoided. After the water boils again, leave the cabbage for 5 minutes. Then take out the boiled cabbage and also recline in a colander.
- Peel one small onion and 1-2 cloves of garlic. Next, proceed to the preparation of nut dressing. To do this, onion, garlic, walnuts, cilantro greens are passed through a meat grinder with a fine grill.
- Add 1/3 tsp to the ground ingredients. Suneli hops, 1/3 tsp ground coriander, salt and pepper to taste. If desired, ground red pepper can be added. Add 1 tsp. wine vinegar and mix thoroughly.
- After that, carefully squeeze the greens and also pass it through a meat grinder with a fine grill. Add scented greens to scrolled greens. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Then we try, and if necessary, add salt or seasonings.
- Wet hands from the resulting mass form balls the size of a good walnut. In each we make a recess and lay out a few pomegranate seeds in it. If you have peanut butter, you can drip a few drops on each.
- Phali is served as an independent dish for meat, fish, and also eaten with corn tortillas or pita bread. Enjoy your meal.
