Ingredients
- Peaches - 1.5 kg
- Sugar - 250 g
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step cooking
- Cut the peaches in two and take out the stone. We put the halves of peaches in jars.
- Pour boiling water into jars with peaches.
- We cover the banks with lids. Cover them with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.
- Pour water from the cans into the pan.
- Add sugar and citric acid.
- We put on the fire and bring to a boil. When it boils, turn off and pour the syrup into cans.
- We roll up the cans, turn it over, wrap it up and leave it to cool completely. Done!
Cooking variations
In order for the recipe to work out, follow the instructions and do not deviate from the number of proportions. If you want to improve the recipe a little, you can safely do it. How to improve it? Just add any other fruits and berries, and pickle everything together. It could be anything. You can use strawberries, blueberries, blueberries, gooseberries or cherries. You can add a little mint to the seaming to make the peaches taste fresher.
Very tasty syrup is obtained by adding slices of lemon. Lemon is also caramelized in syrup and gives a pleasant sourness to the fruits and berries lying nearby. Such peaches can be eaten all winter, like dessert, and can be used as an additive in confectionery. You can decorate cakes with peaches and fill pies.
