Homemade dumplings with potatoes - hearty and tasty

Step cooking

  1. We take 1 kg of raw potato, with a knife for peeling vegetables, peel it, wash it under cold running water, cut into small cubes. We put a pot on the hob, put chopped potatoes in it, pour water so that the potatoes are completely covered, turn on the stove on medium heat. Bring the potatoes to a boil, add 1 tsp. salt.
    Peel the potatoes, cut into slices and set to cook, adding salt.
  2. When the potatoes are boiled, drain the water from it, knead the potatoes with a nibble, add black ground pepper (0.5 tsp), mix well.
    Knead the finished potatoes in a mashed potato.
  3. We take onion (2 pcs.), Peel it from the skin, wash it with clean, running water, cut it into small cubes on a cutting board.
    Cut the onion into a small cube.
  4. We put a frying pan on the hob, add 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil, heat it, pour the onion diced into cubes, fry until golden, golden brown.
    Fry the onion in a pan with vegetable oil until golden brown.
  5. Pour the fried onions into a pan with crushed potatoes, mix thoroughly until smooth, let the potatoes cool slightly.

  6. We take a ready-made fresh dough, roll it with a rolling pin into a large, thin layer, sprinkling with flour so that the dough does not stick to the table.

  13. We put dumplings with potatoes in boiling water, periodically mix with a tablespoon until they boil. After boiling, wait 3 minutes, during which time the dumplings should rise with a hat, the dumplings are cooked.
    Cook the dumplings until they pop up.
  14. We take a slotted spoon, take dumplings from boiling water, put them on a dish, pour the melted butter on top. Dumplings with potatoes are ready, you can invite to the table. Enjoy your meal.
