Step cooking
- Take 250 g of cottage cheese of any fat content, pour it into a deep bowl, add 1 tbsp. l sugar and a pinch of salt. Grind all the ingredients with a fork until smooth. If desired, grind the cottage cheese with sugar and salt through a sieve or beat with a blender.
- Melt 110 g of butter in a small plate, let it cool to room temperature, then pour into the curd mass and mix everything thoroughly.
- Add 1 tsp to the curd. baking powder, sifting it through a fine sieve.
- In the same way, constantly mixing all the ingredients, gradually introduce 140-160 g of flour into the curd mass.
- Mix the ingredients, carefully knead the dough with your hands, and then send it to the refrigerator for one and a half to two hours. The longer the dough lies in the cold, the better. This will help to make it resilient and elastic, which will greatly facilitate the process of forming cookies.
- Divide the dough in half. One part can be temporarily put back in the refrigerator.
- Roll one of the two parts of the dough with a rolling pin into a fairly thin layer, and then cut a round cookie blanks with a glass. The circles should be approximately 7-10 cm in diameter.
- Pour 5-6 tbsp. Into a small deep plate. l Sahara. Take one round piece of dough, put it in sugar and slightly press down with your fingers. You will receive a circle of dough, one side of which will be covered with a layer of sugar.
- Bend the workpiece in half with the sugar side inward, and then dip the resulting semicircle with one side in sugar.
- Next, bend the semicircle with the candied side inward, forming a triangle.
- Dip the triangle from the dough again with sugar on one side, then put it on a baking sheet with the candied side up. Do the same with the rest of the round dough pieces.
- Send cookies to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 25 minutes. While the first batch of cookies is cooking in the oven, remove the second half of the dough from the refrigerator and do the same steps, forming the next batch of cookies. Put the finished cookies on a plate and serve to the table.
