Step cooking
Make dough
- Sift through a fine sieve 500 g of wheat flour.
- We take 200 g of butter from the refrigerator, and then cut it into small pieces of arbitrary shape. Add chopped butter to the flour.
- Then, with clean hands, carefully rub both ingredients into crumbs.
- There we add 200 g of sour cream and knead a homogeneous soft dough.
- We wrap the dough in cling film and then send it to the refrigerators for at least half an hour.
We make cookies
- We turn on the oven and heat it to a temperature of 180-190 ° C. Cover a large baking sheet with baking paper. We take out the cold dough from the refrigerator, and then roll it into a rectangular layer with a thickness of 2-3 mm.
- We cut a thin layer into identical squares with a width and height of about 5-6 cm.
- In the center of each square we lay out a small amount of thick jam. The amount of jam should be adjusted independently, focusing on your own taste preferences.
- We take two opposite edges of the square and carefully fasten them over the jam, forming a kind of envelope.
- We lay out the formed cookies on baking paper, observing the distance between the products of 2-3 cm. We send the jam blanks to the preheated oven and bake the product for about 20-25 minutes.
- As soon as the cookies are browned and a wonderful aroma spreads over the room, we take out the treat from the oven and transfer it to a large flat dish. Sprinkle hot treats with powdered sugar abundantly, passing it through a fine sieve to get rid of large lumps. Leave the cookies to cool to room temperature, and then proceed to the tasting.
