Step cooking
Cookie blanks
- In a deep container we combine 100 g of soft butter, 3 boiled chicken yolks, 50 g of sour cream, 50 g of plain and 10 g of vanilla sugar.
- Knead with a fork so that the ingredients are mixed together.
- Sift 200 g of wheat flour with 5 g of baking powder into the same container.
- Knead the dough. It should turn out to be supple and elastic. You don’t need to knead for a long time, just put it in a lump.
- We clear walnuts from shells and partitions and fry a little in a dry frying pan. From a lump of dough, we pluck a piece the size of a nut, knead into a flat cake, put a quarter of a walnut and form a ball.
- Ready balls are sent to the freezer for 15 minutes, so that they seize.
- Grind the remaining nuts into small crumbs using a blender or a mortar and pestle.
- We cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out the blanks. Bake in a preheated oven to 200ºC for 15-20 minutes until rosy.
- We transfer the baked blanks to the dish and let cool.
Glaze and decoration
- In a small saucepan or stewpan, combine 125 g of sugar, 25 g of cocoa powder, 70 ml of milk and 50 g of room temperature butter.
- We put on fire and cook for 5 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly. Let the icing cool slightly.
- We dip each cookie preparation into icing, let it drain excess and carefully roll in crushed nuts.
- We put the finished cookies for 30 minutes in the refrigerator or 15 in the freezer so that the icing quickly freezes. Serve with hot, sour-milk or carbonated drinks and juices to your taste.
