Ingredients

Kefir | 100-110 ml |
Salt | 1/3 tsp |
Soda | ½ tsp |
Butter | 100-120 g |
Melted butter | 3 tbsp. l |
Poppy | 3-4 tbsp. l |
Sugar | 3-4 tbsp. l |
Egg | 1 PC. |
Step cooking
- Take a bowl and sift into it through a sieve 2 cups flour.
- Add cold chopped butter (100-120 g) to the flour and grind it with flour into crumbs.
- Add 100-110 ml of cold kefir, 1/3 tsp. salt and ½ tsp soda.
- Knead a homogeneous dough. You do not need to knead the dough for a long time, just combine all the ingredients.
- We remove the dough in a bag so that it does not wind, and leave it aside.
- In a bowl, mix 3-4 tbsp. l sugar, 3-4 tbsp. l poppy seeds. Mix.
- Add 3 tbsp. l melted butter and mix again.
- Roll out the dough into a square measuring approximately 30x30 cm. The thickness of the dough should be no more than 5 mm.
- We spread the prepared filling on the rolled dough. Distribute evenly.
- We turn the dough with the filling into the roll, slightly condensing it at the end.
- We cut the roll into circles about 1 centimeter thick.
- We spread the resulting circles on a baking sheet covered with baking paper (parchment paper).
- Grease the future cookie blotted with an egg (1 pc.).
- We put a baking sheet with cookies in a preheated oven and bake until browning. It takes about 20 minutes.
