Ingredients
Product | amount |
Flour | 150 g |
Powdered sugar | 50 g |
Butter | 100 g |
Vanillin | 0.5 g |
Salt | 1 g |
Sugar | 40 g |
Sesame | 30 g |
Step cooking
- Take 100 grams of butter in advance from the refrigerator, put it in a bowl and leave it for 15 minutes so that it warms up at room temperature and becomes soft.
- When the butter becomes pliable, add 50 g of powdered sugar into it and mix the foods well until a homogeneous mass is obtained. If you don’t have powdered sugar at hand, you can use regular white or aromatic brown sugar. This will not affect the taste of cookies.
- Pour 150 grams of flour into a measuring cup. Add salt, vanillin to it and mix. Use large salt, and in the absence of vanillin, you can replace it with a teaspoon of vanilla sugar.
- Knead the dough by mixing flour with butter and sugar. I advise you to add flour in parts, sifting it through a sieve.
- The dough is soft and pliable. It should not stick to hands.
- Divide the dough into three equal parts.
- Take one and form a sausage from it about 15 × 2 cm.
- Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for two hours. Do the same with the other two parts.
- After two hours, remove all three parts on a board or flat plate and grease them with a cooking brush with an egg previously mixed until smooth with a fork.
- Mix 30 grams of sesame and 40 grams of sugar. You can fry sesame seeds before use. Constantly stirring, fry for about 2-4 minutes in a dry frying pan. This makes the cookies especially crispy, and the kitchen is covered with a pleasant nutty aroma, which only enhances the desire to quickly enjoy the cookies.
- Pour the sesame and sugar mixture onto the board and smooth it evenly over the surface.
- Roll sausages in sesame with sugar and cut them into pieces about two centimeters wide.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the cookie on it. Send them to a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Make sure cookies are not burnt.
- After cooking, take the treat out of the oven and let cool. Store cookies in a dry place. You can use a tin box for biscuits for these purposes. It is convenient in that it is tightly closed by a lid, without letting in moisture.
