Step cooking
- Add 125 g of softened butter to a deep bowl. It should be removed from the refrigerator in advance.
- Drive 1 medium-sized egg into the oil, add a pinch of salt. Using a spoon or fork, knead the butter and egg until smooth. You can use a mixer or blender.
- Next, pour 125 g of sugar.
- Rub well to lighten the mass.
- Pour 1 tbsp. l milk, mix.
- Sift 250 g of wheat flour to make it fluffy and saturate with oxygen. Add flour to the dough in two stages. First, add half the flour, mix well.
- Then pour the remaining flour, and then with the help of the hands knead the dough. It turns out soft, elastic, not sticky to the hands.
- From the dough we form a uniform ball, put it in a food bag or wrap it with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that it rests and the oil seizes. Then making cookie blanks will be much easier.
- We take the rested dough out of the refrigerator and knead again. It is not necessary to knead the dough for a long time, it can exfoliate and lose elasticity.
- To simplify the process, roll out the dough immediately on parchment paper into a thin layer, sprinkling it with flour. The thickness of the formation depends on your preference, but the recommended thickness is 5 - 7 mm. Since homemade cookies contain a sufficient amount of butter, parchment paper does not need to be greased.
- Cut the rolled out dough with a knife for pizza with diamonds. You can use different cookie cutters or recesses.
- Let's make a cookie sprinkle. To do this, mix in a bowl 1.5 tbsp. l sugar and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon.
- Sprinkle plenty of rhombuses.
- We shift the parchment paper with the dough onto the baking sheet and put it in the preheated oven to 200 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes. According to your desire, the cookies can be slightly browned, but make sure that it does not dry out, and in no case is burnt.
- Ready cookies should be cooled, and then broken into diamonds.
