Step cooking
- Pour 130 g of kefir into a bowl, add one egg, 1/3 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. l sugar and 80 g of refined vegetable oil.
- Thoroughly mix the ingredients until smooth with a whisk. In a bowl, mix 10 tbsp. l flour and 1 tsp. baking powder. Gradually add a mixture of flour and baking powder to the composition of the liquid ingredients, sifting them through a sieve.
- Gently mix the resulting mixture with a spatula, make sure that the components are thoroughly mixed, without lumps. Then put the dough on the table and knead it with your hands until it becomes soft and supple.
- Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper. If there is no paper, then just grease it with vegetable oil. Roll the flagellum out of the dough and divide it into 16 equal parts weighing about 40 g.
- Take one part and roll a 10-12 cm long flagellum out of it. Press the dough sausage slightly with your fingers so that it takes the form of a flat strip.
- Dip the resulting workpiece in sugar on one side and press firmly so that the surface is completely covered with sugar.
- We spread the cookies on a baking sheet, sprinkled with the side up. Keep in mind that cookies will slightly increase in size during baking. Put them at a sufficient distance from each other so that the products do not stick together during baking.
- In the same way, we form the remaining dough. Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. Place the prepared items in a well-heated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned. If you want more crispy cookies, increase the time by another 5 minutes.
- After the time has passed, remove the cookies from the oven and let it cool completely, only then remove from the pan.
