- rolling pin;
- deep bowl for mixing ingredients;
- cling film or small cellophane bag;
- baking parchment;
- cookie baking dish (optional);
- blender (optional);
- oven.
Ingredients
Baked Pumpkin | 250 g |
Premium wheat flour | 350 g |
Milk | 100 ml |
Butter | 40 g |
Sugar | 40 g |
Baking powder | 1.5 tsp |
Walnuts | 50 g |
Cinnamon | 0.5 tsp |
Step cooking
- Wrap 40 g of walnuts in plastic wrap or a small plastic bag, spread them evenly inside and chop by rolling with a rolling pin. You can also grind them in any other way available to you.
- Mash 250 g of pulp previously baked in the oven of the pumpkin thoroughly with a fork or beat with a blender until the consistency of mashed potatoes.
- In a deep bowl, mix 350 g of flour, 40 g of sugar, 1.5 tsp. baking powder and 0.5 tsp. cinnamon. Mix everything thoroughly. Add 40 g of melted butter, mashed pumpkin pulp and chopped walnuts to the resulting mixture.
- All this, pour 100 ml of warm milk and mix until the mixture turns into a dough of dense consistency (add a little more flour, if necessary).
- Put the dough on a flour-dusting board (or mat) to roll out and, using a rolling pin, roll it evenly into a sheet about 0.5 mm thick. Cut the resulting sheet into pieces of arbitrary shape and size (it all depends entirely on your imagination).
- Put the resulting pieces on a baking sheet previously covered with baking parchment. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to a temperature of 180 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
- After a specified period of time, remove the finished cookies from the oven, put on a plate and enjoy a healthy treat. Enjoy your meal!
Decoration methods and serving options
To make your treat even more mouth-watering, use special cookie shapes in the form of hearts, stars, animals, etc. You can also cut the rolled dough into narrow strips, and they, in turn, into small triangles or squares. You can decorate your culinary masterpiece by sprinkling it on top with powdered sugar, sesame seeds or coconut flakes after ready. Serving is recommended for tea with melted chocolate or jam.
