Kitchen appliances and utensils:oven, baking sheet, 2 bowls for dough, a wooden spatula, parchment paper, rolling pin, a teaspoon, a glass for butter, a sieve for flour, a dish for cookies.
Ingredients
cottage cheese | 100-120 g |
vanilla sugar | 1 tsp |
chicken egg | 2 pcs. |
granulated sugar | 180 g |
vegetable oil | 120-130 ml |
milk | 40 ml |
potato starch | 90 g |
wheat flour | 310-320 g |
cocoa powder | 20 g |
nuts (any) | 70 g |
Step cooking
- Since the cookies are two-color, first prepare a light dough. To do this, mix one chicken egg, 100-120 g of cottage cheese, 130 g of granulated sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla sugar in a bowl. Pour about 80 ml of vegetable oil, 40 ml of milk and 90 g of potato starch into a bowl. Mix everything well with a wooden spatula until smooth.
- Then gradually pour 250 g of sifted wheat flour into a bowl and knead a uniform, elastic dough. On a clean table, roll the dough well with your hands so that it is smooth and does not stick to your hands.
- Set aside the light dough to rest, and in the meantime prepare the dark dough. In a bowl, mix one chicken egg, 50 g of granulated sugar, 40 ml of vegetable oil and 20 g of cocoa powder, mix everything well with a spatula. Pour about 70 grams of chopped nuts into the mixed mass of your choice - walnuts, hazelnuts, or peanuts. Mix everything well with a spatula.
- Gradually add about 60-70 g of wheat flour in the same bowl and mix all the ingredients well until a uniform, thick dough. Leave the dark dough in a bowl for now.
- Spread parchment paper on the table and sprinkle lightly with flour. Divide the light dough into 3 equal parts. Roll each of them with a rolling pin to form a rectangle.
- Spread a dark dough on the edge of each rectangle with a teaspoon.
- Then carefully roll the dough into a roll so that it does not tear anywhere. Cut each roll into equal pieces of about 3-4 cm in size.
- Put parchment paper on a baking sheet and lay out sliced pieces of a beautiful two-color dough on it.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ºС and bake cookies for about 15 minutes. Sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar. If you want, you can also decorate cookies with grated chocolate or confectionery powder.
If you want to experiment, try adding a little cinnamon or lemon zest to the light dough, so the taste of the cookies will be even more saturated.
Curd for cookies is better to choose a fresh home, rather than a store. It should be greasy, easy to crumble. Too sour or wet cottage cheese can ruin your cookies.
