Step cooking
- We clean nuts and raisins from unnecessary elements (shell, partitions, twigs, etc.) and grind in a blender. You can chop nuts with a rolling pin or mortar and pestle, and cut raisins with a knife. For the dish, any variety of nuts and raisins is suitable.
- Sift 250 g of whole-grain rye flour into a deep bowl and add bulk ingredients to it: 100 g of sugar, ¼ tsp. salt, ½ tsp. baking soda and spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) to taste. Mix everything.
- Cut the cold butter with a knife into small pieces, you can also grind it with a grater. Mix the oil with the dry mixture.
- Shake the chicken eggs until smooth and add to the rest of the products, at the same time we put raisins. Knead the dough first with a spoon, and then with your hands. No need to knead the dough for a long time, just get a lump of homogeneous taut mass.
- We put the finished dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes so that it holds its shape well and is conveniently molded.
- From a chilled dough using a teaspoon we make portioned cookies and give it the appearance of a small cake. We put the blanks on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. We bake cookies in a preheated oven to 180ºC for 15-20 minutes. After that, remove from the pan and invite the eaters to the table.
- Serve with a mug of hot drink (milk, tea, coffee, etc.). Additionally, you can decorate cookies with icing, lemon zest, chocolate, coconut and other ingredients.
