Ingredients
Liver | 500 g |
Onion | 3 pcs. |
Carrot | 2 pcs. |
Chicken egg | 2 pcs. |
Milk | 100 ml |
Wheat flour | 4 tbsp. l |
Salt | taste |
Ground black pepper | taste |
Step cooking
- First you need to prepare the vegetables. Peel the carrots and onions, and then cut into arbitrary pieces.
- Next, cut the liver. For this recipe, you can use either pork or beef or chicken liver, depending on your personal preferences. The main thing is that it be fresh and of high quality. If possible, buy fresh liver, as it is very difficult to check the quality of frozen. The liver should have a pleasant, slightly sweet aroma and uniform color. If you are forced to buy frozen, pay attention to the shade of the ice crust. If it is slightly pinkish, this may indicate that the product was subjected to repeated freezing. In this case, it is better to refuse the purchase.
- Part of the chopped liver, carrots and onions are laid out in a blender bowl and chopped until smooth. Then carefully peel large pieces from the walls and grind again. If slices of carrots are visible in the resulting mass, no further grinding is necessary. They will give the dish an extra touch of sweetness. We carry out the same sequence of actions with the remaining liver, carrots and onions. If you have a large blender or food processor, the bowl of which allows you to grind everything at once, then you can not divide the ingredients into parts.
- Break 2 chicken eggs into a deep container and beat them slightly with a whisk. Then pour 100 ml of milk at room temperature and whisk a little more.
- Next, pour the chopped liver into the egg mixture in parts, add 4 tbsp. l wheat flour, salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Be sure to ensure that no lumps of flour remain in the mixture. If desired, you can add other herbs and spices.
- The resulting mass is poured into a ceramic mold.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a well-heated oven, put the form with the souffle and bake for 45 minutes.
- The finished souffle is cut into portions. Serve on the table as a hot dish, or cold as a snack. Enjoy your meal.
