Step cooking
Prepare the products
- First of all, boil 5 medium-sized potatoes in their skins, and 5 hard boiled eggs. Peel boiled potatoes, and eggs - from the shell.
- Peeled potatoes are cut into small cubes, as in a salad.
- Put the chopped potatoes in a deep bowl, in which we will knead the salad.
- Three small pickled or pickled cucumbers are cut into the same small cube.
- We send the chopped ingredient to the potatoes.
- Hard boiled eggs are also finely chopped with a sharp knife and sprinkled on top of the cucumbers.
- I thoroughly wash one bunch of green onions, then lightly dry it with a paper towel and finely shred. Sliced onions are sent to a bowl to the rest of the ingredients.
- Drain the oil from the can with the cod liver, then put the liver on a paper towel and lightly wipe it to get rid of excess moisture.
- Cut the liver into medium-sized pieces, then pour it over the onion.
Make a salad
- Salt and pepper the resulting mass, focusing on your own taste preferences. We add 60-80 g of mayonnaise there.
- Stir the ingredients thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained. You should not put more mayonnaise, as the cod liver is rather fat. At this stage, try the salad on the salt and add more if necessary.
We form a salad
- We take a large flat dish and lay out the cooked salad in the shape of a star on it.
- Manually form and sharpen the rays of the star, while slightly pressing down the mass so that the salad holds its shape.
- Rub on a fine grater 100 g of hard cheese.
- Sprinkle with chopped cheese the star formed and its edges.
- Cherry tomatoes in an amount of 100 g are cut in half and spread in half on top of the salad.
- We do the same with olives, after which we make a star edging from them. We send the finished treat to the refrigerator for about half an hour, so that all the ingredients are well soaked in mayonnaise. Serve the dish on the table in a cold form, after which we cut into portions and lay them on plates.
