Ingredients
pork liver | 700-800 g |
vegetable oil (butter) | for frying |
salt | taste |
ground black pepper | taste |
Step cooking
- In order to prepare a juicy fried liver, you need only 1 ingredient. Take 700-800 g of pork liver, rinse thoroughly and cut into small pieces. If you prefer to soak this product to get rid of the unpleasant odor, you can soak it, but you can’t do this in this recipe.
- Pour the vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and set to heat on fire. If you prefer butter, then you can use it for frying.
- Put the liver in a preheated pan tightly to each other, cover it with a lid and simmer over medium heat for 3 minutes.
- After the required time has passed, open the lid, turn the pork liver on the other side, cover again and simmer for the same time. Next, remove the lid and let the liver fry a little for several minutes.
- When the liver takes on a slightly golden hue, it can be removed from the fire.
- In order for the liver to not be bitter, it is not recommended to salt it immediately. Before putting it on a plate, sprinkle with salt to taste the plate itself, and then lay on it a portion of the fried pieces. Salt and pepper the liver lying on the plate. In the same way, re-lay the remaining layers of the pork liver. The dish is ready, and it can be served to the table with a side dish.
If you want to give the liver a creamy taste, you can immediately stew it in a small amount of 15-20% cream and butter, and when all the cream has completely evaporated, it should be fried until golden brown without a lid, it is better to salt it at the very end.
Juicy pork liver will go well with mashed potatoes. To do this, boil the peeled potatoes in a small saucepan, salt it to taste, and when it is completely cooked, drain the water and shake with a special crush. For taste, add a piece of butter and a little warm milk to the potatoes, then mix again with a crush or blender until smooth and remove lumps.
