- Thoroughly rinse 550-600 g of beef liver, and then cut off the white film and other inedible parts. We cut the product with long longitudinal pieces with a thickness of not more than 1 cm.
- Sliced liver pepper and salt, focusing on your own taste.
- Transfer the ingredients into a deep bowl and pour 150 ml of milk. Leave the beef liver in this form for about half an hour.
- Meanwhile, cut two medium apples into quarters, then remove the core and cut the fruit into slices of medium thickness. In this recipe, it is best to use sour green apples, because they are perfectly combined with the taste data of beef liver. However, you can use any variety, the main thing is that the fruit is not too sweet.
- Two medium-sized onions are peeled, then divided in half and cut into large half rings.
Cooking product
- We heat the pan to a hot state, and then add 15-20 ml of vegetable oil and 30 g of butter to it.
- As soon as the butter becomes liquid and warms up well, put the chopped onion in the pan, and then the apples.
- Stew the ingredients until soft and a light amber tint.
- In the meantime, take care of the liver. Pour about 70-100 g of wheat flour into a small container, then carefully roll each piece of liver in it.
- In another pan, heat 20-30 ml of vegetable oil, and then fry the liver in it on each side for about 2-3 minutes. The main thing is not to overcook the liver, otherwise it will be “rubbery” and tasteless.
- We send the fried liver to soft apples and rosy onions.
- Stew the ingredients under a closed lid for 5-7 minutes. If you want the apples to be softer, then pour 50 ml of water into the pan and simmer the ingredients twice as long.
