Durum wheat pasta (Fusilloni) 250 g
Spinach 150 g
Onion 1 PC.
Cherry tomatoes 10 pieces.
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l
Soy sauce 2 tbsp. l
Water 2.5-3 l
Parmesan Cheese 50-100 g
Salt taste

Step cooking

  1. Place a pot of water (2.5-3 liters) on the stove and bring it to a boil.
    In a pan, bring to a boil water for cooking pasta.
  2. Peel and onion (1 piece) and cut into small cubes.
    Grind onion on the board.
  3. Wash and cut cherry tomatoes (10 pieces) into 2 halves.
    Cherry tomatoes are cut in half.
  4. Rinse fresh spinach (150 grams). It is not necessary to dry it in this case. If you have large spinach leaves, then cut the petioles and chop the spinach arbitrarily; if the spinach leaves are not large and the petioles are not coarse, then chop along with them.
    Chop the spinach.
  5. Put the pan on the fire, pour olive oil (2 tablespoons) into it and heat.
    Heat the pan with vegetable oil.
  6. Put the onion cubes into the heated oil and fry them over high heat for 3 minutes with constant stirring.
    First, fry the chopped onions.
  7. Add the halves of tomatoes to the fried onion and fry them for about 0.5-1 minutes, stirring continuously.
    Add tomatoes to the onion.
  8. Put chopped spinach in a pan, mix and turn off the stove.
    Next, add spinach to the pan, mix and turn off.
  9. When the water in the pan boils, add salt (a full teaspoon) to it and pour the pasta. Stir, bring to a boil and reduce heat so that the water continues to boil little by little. Cook the pasta until al dente (almost until ready).
    Cook pasta.
  10. When the pasta is ready, turn on the heat under the pan and spoon, transfer the pasta from the pan to the pan.
    We transfer almost ready pasta to a pan for vegetables.
  11. When all the pasta has been laid out, add 2 tablespoons of the water in which it was cooked to the pan, and pour in the soy sauce (2 tablespoons). Mix the contents of the pan well with a wooden or plastic spatula. If you do not add soy sauce, then simply salt the dish to taste.
    Add some water from cooking pasta and soy sauce.
  12. Warm all ingredients for 1-2 minutes, and the dish is ready.
    Mix the ingredients and the dish is ready.

Decoration methods and serving options

Put hot pasta with spinach and cherry tomatoes on a serving plate and garnish with grated cheese on top. It’s good if it will be parmesan cheese. You can also leave a few whole leaves of spinach during cooking, and decorate the dish with them. Remember to serve cool white wine.

Spinach pasta will be even tastier if served with grated parmesan.
