Step cooking
- Place a pot of water (2.5-3 liters) on the stove and bring it to a boil.
- Peel and onion (1 piece) and cut into small cubes.
- Wash and cut cherry tomatoes (10 pieces) into 2 halves.
- Rinse fresh spinach (150 grams). It is not necessary to dry it in this case. If you have large spinach leaves, then cut the petioles and chop the spinach arbitrarily; if the spinach leaves are not large and the petioles are not coarse, then chop along with them.
- Put the pan on the fire, pour olive oil (2 tablespoons) into it and heat.
- Put the onion cubes into the heated oil and fry them over high heat for 3 minutes with constant stirring.
- Add the halves of tomatoes to the fried onion and fry them for about 0.5-1 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Put chopped spinach in a pan, mix and turn off the stove.
- When the water in the pan boils, add salt (a full teaspoon) to it and pour the pasta. Stir, bring to a boil and reduce heat so that the water continues to boil little by little. Cook the pasta until al dente (almost until ready).
- When the pasta is ready, turn on the heat under the pan and spoon, transfer the pasta from the pan to the pan.
- When all the pasta has been laid out, add 2 tablespoons of the water in which it was cooked to the pan, and pour in the soy sauce (2 tablespoons). Mix the contents of the pan well with a wooden or plastic spatula. If you do not add soy sauce, then simply salt the dish to taste.
- Warm all ingredients for 1-2 minutes, and the dish is ready.
Decoration methods and serving options
Put hot pasta with spinach and cherry tomatoes on a serving plate and garnish with grated cheese on top. It’s good if it will be parmesan cheese. You can also leave a few whole leaves of spinach during cooking, and decorate the dish with them. Remember to serve cool white wine.
