Step cooking
- First you need to boil the pasta according to the instructions. Ready pasta toss in a colander, but do not need to rinse.
- Thaw squids in advance, if necessary, then clean, turn inside out and pour over boiling water. After that, remove the thin skin and rinse again. They must be cut into thin strips approximately 4 cm long and 0.5 cm wide. But you can also chop as you like.
- Finely chop the onion.
- Grind the parsley. Finely chop garlic or chop using a press.
- Melt the butter in a skillet.
- Add onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add parsley to the onion and stew a little.
- Add garlic, mix. Fry for 2 minutes.
- Then put the squid in a pan and fry, stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes. You can’t stew squids for a long time, as they may be too coarse as a result.
- Pour in cream, mix well, add ground pepper and mix. Put it out for another 4 minutes.
- Add ready-made pasta to the pan, mix well and gently.
- The dish is ready. Now it is necessary to put it in plates and sprinkle with grated cheese on top of a large grater. If you don’t like the taste of melted hard cheese, wait until the pasta has cooled a little. Enjoy your meal!
Cooking options
There are other options for cooking pasta with squid:
- You can take any pasta. They are preferably made from durum wheat. Most often, spaghetti is used for pasta.
- This dish is also suitable tomatoes, preferably cherry. Large varieties of tomatoes are recommended to be pre-doused with boiling water and peeled.
- You can add to your taste nutmeg, coriander, basil, green onions, Provence herbs.
- Instead of butter, you can take olive or any other vegetable.
- Sometimes cream is mixed with a little sour cream.
- You can experiment with the addition of various vegetables: celery, bell pepper, etc.
- Cheese is best taken with Parmesan, but you can also use your favorite type of cheese.
