Step cooking
- First we need to prepare all the necessary ingredients. We put a thick-walled pan on the stove and pour about 1 liter of water into it. Add sea salt to taste and bring to a boil.
- While the water is warming, we move on to the rest of the products. Sweet peppers are cleaned from cuttings and seeds. Cut into small cubes.
- Then finely chop 100 g dried apricots.
- After that, fry 100 g of almonds and grind with a knife or blender.
- Finely chop the onion greens.
- Peel the garlic from the husks and also finely chop or crush with the help of the garlic.
- We disassemble the pomegranate and select grains from it. In total, we need 20 g of pomegranate seeds. This is about 1/4 of a medium-sized garnet.
- Pour 400 g of Israeli couscous into boiling water and cook for 6-7 minutes.
- We put a frying pan on the stove, pour 30 ml of olive oil and heat it.
- Put pepper and garlic in a preheated pan and fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Then add the chopped almonds and mix thoroughly.
- After this, pour boiled couscous to pepper, garlic and almonds.
- Pour 100 g of chicken stock, add chopped dried apricots, onion greens and pomegranate seeds. Add red ground pepper if desired.
- Mix thoroughly and simmer over medium heat until the broth is completely evaporated.
- Put the finished dish on portioned plates and serve it hot.
