Step cooking
- Sift 150 g flour through a sieve into a deep bowl. The sifted flour is oxygenated and gives the dough lightness. For dietary purposes, we recommend using whole grain flour. Add 150 g of oatmeal to a bowl of flour. They can be ordinary or instant.
- In the resulting dry mixture, add 120 g of sugar, 10 g of vanilla sugar and 80 g of coconut. When choosing coconut chips for baking, pay attention to the graininess and humidity of the product. It is large and juicy chips that give the taste of coconut in the finished product. Small and dry chips will not give the necessary taste to the liver, but only make your dough heavier. If desired, coconut can be replaced with nuts or raisins.
- Add 3 g of baking powder, 3 g of soda and 3 g of salt. Soda and baking powder will give the liver friability, and salt will enhance the taste of the final product.
- All dry ingredients should be thoroughly mixed with a whisk or spoon.
- Take 130 g of butter or margarine at room temperature and melt in a saucepan over low heat so that the butter does not burn.
- Pour 50 g of water and 50 g of honey into the stewpan into melted butter. Stir the mixture until smooth. Honey will give the liver a unique flavor and a golden color.
- Pour the resulting mass into a bowl with the dry mixture and mix. Your dough is ready.
- Cover the pan with parchment to prevent cookies from sticking to the pan. From the resulting dough, form with your hands balls the size of a walnut.
- Lay the products on parchment at a distance of 3 cm from each other. Flatten them on top.
- Bake cookies in the oven without convection, setting the pan at an average level, at a temperature of 180 ºС for about 20 minutes. Always focus on your oven. As soon as the cookies get a golden crust - it is ready. Hot cookies will be soft, after cooling, they will become crispy and will simply melt in your mouth.
