Step cooking
- First you need to grind 170 g of oatmeal in a coffee grinder or blender to make oatmeal. Oatmeal cookies, prepared without the use of wheat flour, are less nutritious, crumbly and tender.
- In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients - oatmeal and 1 tsp. baking powder, mix.
- In another bowl add 100 g of butter at room temperature, rub it well until light and smooth.
- Pour 100 g of sugar to the oil, 0.5 tsp. vanilla sugar, and rub. Ground cinnamon can be added to oatmeal cookies, it will give a pleasant aroma and a beautiful brownish color. If you replace white sugar with cane sugar, oatmeal cookies will turn out with a delicate caramel flavor and a touch.
- Next, drive one egg.
- Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. You can add any nuts, grated apples, dried fruits, chocolate, spices and spices to the dough - everything you like. By adding new ingredients each time you cook, you will get completely different cookies.
- Pour oatmeal with baking powder in parts, each time mix well with a spoon.
- The dough is very soft. We cover the finished dough with cling film and put in the refrigerator for 60 minutes, so that the oil sets, and the dough becomes more dense. If you don’t have so much time, you can put the dough into the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes, then it will catch faster, but do not overdo it so that it does not freeze. Such a dough can be prepared for future use, frozen, and bake cookies as necessary.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and a little grease with butter. You can use a silicone baking mat. We take out the dough from the refrigerator, pluck off a piece, roll it into a ball with our hands and put it on a baking sheet. Do not forget to leave the distance between the cookies, due to the baking powder it will increase in volume.
- Cookies put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes and bake until golden brown. From this test you get 23 pieces.
- Cool the finished cookies and serve. Oatmeal cookies are very tasty with a crispy crust and a soft center. Enjoy your meal!
