Step cooking
- Chop cabbage into thin slices.
- Peel the onion and zucchini and cut into small cubes. Repeat the previously done manipulation with pepper and celery stalk - cut into small cubes.
- Pour the vegetable oil into the bottom of the multicooker bowl so that the entire bottom is filled with oil. Pour layers of onion, zucchini, pepper, celery stalk and cabbage into layers.
- Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and lay them on top of the cabbage. Cut the tomato into a small cube and place the next layer in the bowl. You can use the tomato with or without the skin, depending on your taste preferences.
- Put the diced potatoes in the last layer.
- Dissolve salt, black pepper and spices in a glass of water. Next, pour the mixture into the multicooker bowl. Ground black pepper and spices can be added immediately to the bowl of the multicooker, it is better to dissolve the salt in water. In the multicooker menu, select the "Extinguishing" mode or the "Beans" mode, depending on the options of your kitchen equipment. Stew for 1 hour 30 minutes.
- After the time for cooking vegetables in the multicooker, chop finely the greens, pour into the multicooker bowl and mix thoroughly.
Ways to feed and decorate
Vegetable stew can act as an independent dish, as well as an excellent side dish. The ideal combination to it would be steamed meat patties or a fresh salad of various types of cabbage and greens. Using the amount of gravy that is formed during the stewing of vegetables, you can control the degree of saturation of a given dish by using it as a side dish with a minimum amount of gravy or as a first course, just use stewed vegetables and gravy in a 1: 1 ratio.
Another common way to serve and decorate vegetable stew is to complement it in the form of lettuce, croutons, garlic croutons. The ideal combination would be cheese products. Alternatively, you can grate parmesan or mozzarella.
