Step cooking
- Finely chop the onion. Heat a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan (about 100 ml of oil will be needed in total), put onion there and fry until transparent. We shift in a bowl.
- Finely chop the bell pepper - 1 piece. Fry pepper in vegetable oil, spread to the onion.
- Cut into small cubes zucchini. Fry the zucchini and put it onion and pepper.
- Cut 2 tbsp. l basil, add to the vegetable mixture. Add salt and black pepper to taste, mix everything thoroughly.
- At the bottom of the baking dish (it’s better to take a glass one - it can also be served in the table) we apply a thin layer of tomato sauce (100 ml will be needed).
- Spread a layer of vegetables - about a third of the total mass. Next, lay out a layer of sheets for climbing (they will need 4 pieces). It is important to completely cover the vegetables with the paste, breaking off the pieces you need in size. Moreover, each layer of sheets needs to be folded in different ways so that the lasagna does not fall apart when feeding.
- Grease the sheets with tomato sauce. Again, spread the vegetable mixture - a third of the total mass.
- We rub 150 g of cheese on a coarse grater. Pour 100 g of grated cheese with the next layer.
- Lay out sheets for lasagna. Grease them with tomato sauce. We spread the last portion of vegetables. Top layer - 50 g of grated cheese. Set the mold in a preheated oven to 180ºС for 40 minutes. Decorate the finished dish with a leaf of basil. You can serve it in 10 minutes - so that it “seizes”.
Useful Tips
- For this recipe, buy lasagna sheets that don't need to be boiled.
- Tomato sauce can be purchased ready-made, but if desired, it is easy to cook it yourself by boiling tomatoes with spices and basil over low heat, and then beat with a blender.
- Ideally, mozzarella is used in climbing, but in principle, any cheese can be taken.
- Do not be afraid to experiment - add your favorite vegetables to the vegetable mixture. For example, eggplant will add piquancy to a dish.
- Do not forget that the freshly prepared lasagna is especially tasty. After warming up, its taste is somewhat lost.
