chicken egg | 2 pcs. |
milk | 3-4 tbsp. l |
salt | pinch |
greenery | taste |
frozen vegetables mix | 100 - 200 g as desired |
Step cooking
- To prepare steamed omelettes, prepare all the necessary products and a double boiler. Two portions are prepared from the indicated quantity of products; you can vary the amount of ingredients for the preparation of one portion of omelet. To prepare two servings, beat each egg in separate bowls.
- Add 1-1.5 tbsp. l milk and some salt as desired.
- Each egg must be shaken well with a fork until a uniform consistency. Do not use a mixer, whisk or blender for whipping, as a more abundant and more powerful whipping breaks the structure of the egg white, and the omelet after baking will be less magnificent.
- In one mixture for omelet, add 100-120 g of the vegetable mixture. Choose vegetables at your discretion. If you take a frozen mixture, it is recommended to defrost it a little in advance, cut fresh vegetables into small pieces and slices so that they can cook well. Stir the egg well with the vegetables. At will, you can use not only vegetables, but also cheese or various meat products. If you want to use fresh meat, then it will first need to be boiled or fried, chopped and only then added to the omelette mixture.
- Prepare two silicone molds in which the omelet will be cooked. If you are using them for the first time, grease them lightly with vegetable oil. If you already cook in them again, then this is not necessary. Pour the omelette mixture into molds.
- Pour the required amount of water into the double boiler tank, place the omelettes in one of the bowls. Set the cooking time to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, thoroughly mix the contents of the omelet shape with vegetables, turn on the double boiler for another 5 minutes.
- After cooking, remove the molds, let them cool a little and you can transfer the omelet to plates. Before serving chop finely a bunch of fresh herbs and sprinkle with it each serving. Serving such a dish is best for breakfast, with fresh vegetables or a light salad. You can also offer whole grain breads or toasts.
