Ingredients
- Medium-sized squash - 2 pcs.
- Chicken Egg - 2 pcs.

- Odorless vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Wheat flour - 5 tbsp. l
Step cooking
- Squash has a denser peel than zucchini, so you should first peel them. Also, if the squash is not very young, then it is necessary to free it from all seeds. When the squash is cleaned, grate them. The size of the grater is for you to choose, because if you grate squash on a fine grater, then the pancakes will turn out to be more uniform in consistency. You can grate squash on a coarse grater or chop with a knife, then the texture of the vegetable will be visible.
- Transfer grated squash into a deep bowl, salt and pepper to taste. Like zucchini, squash emit a lot of juice, so you can squeeze them a little to free from excess juice. Also at this stage, you can add any spices and seasonings to taste. To give the pancakes an additional taste, you can grate onions or garlic on a fine grater. If you want the pancakes to be sweet, add a little sugar instead of salt.
- We beat in two chicken eggs and mix well.
- Next, pour 1 tablespoon of wheat flour, mix well each time. In this case, you need 5 tbsp. l flour, it all depends on the size and juiciness of your squash. You need to look at the consistency: squash should not become too dry, as well as swim in the juice.
- When the dough for the pancakes is ready, proceed to frying them. We put the pan on the stove, pour the odorless vegetable oil and heat it well.
- We put one tablespoon of the dough into the heated oil and squeeze a little so that the pancakes are well cooked. Fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then turn over to the other side, crush a little again and fry for a few more minutes until cooked. Do not put a lot of pancakes in the pan, otherwise the temperature of the vegetable oil will drop and the pancakes will fry longer.
- We put the finished pancakes on a paper towel so that the excess oil is gone. If necessary, add more vegetable oil to the pan and thus fry all the pancakes. We serve fritters from squash in hot or cold form.
