Water | 1 liter |
Salmon | 300 g |
A tomato | 1 PC. |
Potatoes | 1 PC. |
Cream 20% fat | 200 ml |
Onion | 1 PC. |
Carrot | 1 PC. |
Vegetable oil (for frying) | 20 g |
Step cooking
- We peel potatoes and onions, wash onions, tomatoes and carrots under running water. Three carrots on a fine grater, the remaining vegetables are cut into short strips.
- Pour cold water into the pan, put the fish there, bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes.
- Pour the vegetable oil into the pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
- When ready, add carrots and fry until it becomes soft.
- Add the tomatoes and fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes.
- We take out the fish from the broth and put it on the board. We filter the broth through a sieve.
- Pour the broth back into the pan, add salt to taste, add the potatoes and cook until half cooked (about 10 minutes).
- Cut the fish into small pieces.
- After the set time has passed, add the remaining vegetables to the broth and pour in the cream, cook for another 7-10 minutes.
- When ready, add the fish and remove the pan from the heat. The soup is ready to serve!
Serving and serving variations
As dishes for serving soup, you can choose bowls, plates, hats or ordinary deep plates. You can decorate portioned dishes with a sprig of any greens (dill, parsley, sage) or homemade crackers made of white or rye bread.
Alternatively, salmon may be trout. You can also take river fish, for example, carp, silver carp or pike, but then the dish may have an unpleasant river taste. It is recommended only in cases when you are sure that you can control the soup and eliminate or prevent the appearance of this taste.
