Step-by-step instruction
- Take 5 medium apples, rub them on a coarse grater, apples can not be peeled. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Darkening of apples is possible, but this will not affect the taste of the pie. You can use a food processor instead of a grater - then the apples will not have time to darken.
- Combine dry foods: 1 cup (180 g) sugar, 1 cup (160 g) semolina, 1 cup (130 g) flour, 1.5 tsp. baking powder, and mix it all thoroughly. Take a split baking dish with a diameter of 20 cm and cover it with parchment, pre-lubricating both the form and parchment with oil. This is necessary so that nothing sticks and does not burn.
- Divide the dry mixture into 4 equal parts - according to the number of cakes. To do this, you can take 4 glasses and distribute the mixture over them (approximately 120 g). Divide grated apples approximately, by eye, into 3 equal parts - that’s 3 parts of the apple layer.
- Pour layers in turn: a layer of dry mixture, a layer of apples to make a uniform cake. And so on to the top of the form. The top should be a layer of dry mix. Take 30 g of butter and melt the butter in a heated, almost boiling glass (200 ml) of milk.
- Pour milk over the whole cake, after making neat punctures with a fork or knife in the cake - so that the milk passes through the entire thickness of the cake and it is saturated.
- Send the cake to the oven preheated to 180 degrees, and bake for 40 - 50 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes. After that, go with the dessert knife along the edge so that everything is well removed. Carefully remove the parchment. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. It turned out a juicy and tasty pie - as if with cream. Bulk apple pie can be served with vanilla ice cream. You can have tea, or you can just like that. Very tasty and very simple.
