Step cooking
With cheese
- Break one large or two small chicken eggs into a bowl. Lightly salt, pepper and beat with a whisk until smooth.
- Lubricate the whole surface of the tortillas with beaten egg mixture. It is most convenient to do this with a silicone brush.
- Pour a thin layer of grated hard cheese on top of the cakes. Cheese should not reach the edges by about 2 - 2.5 cm.
- Fold each cake in half and carefully press the edges.
- We heat the pan, grease it with butter and spread the tortillas folded in half. Usually two such cakes are placed in one pan.
- We fry without a lid over medium heat until a brown crust appears on each side. Serve hot on a flat plate, garnished with greens (parsley, dill). Sliced vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers) or vegetable salad are also suitable as a side dish.
With rice, sausage and vegetables
- Cut into small rings 1 petiole of fresh celery and 5 - 6 feathers of green onions.
- Cut 4 - 5 slices of smoked sausage into small cubes.
- Mix all the ingredients with half a glass of boiled rice. Add a tablespoon of canned corn and 1 tsp. mustard. All products are gently mixed in a bowl. Add 0.5 tsp. sesame seeds, salt, italian herbs.
- In the same bowl rub on a coarse grater 1 - 2 tablespoons of cheese. Mix again and lay this mixture on the cakes.
- Lubricate the hot pan with butter, and then fry the tortillas until browned. The dish is still served at the table.
With chicken, tomatoes and cheese
- Peel smoked chicken fillet and cut the flesh into small cubes.
- Fresh small tomatoes (2 - 3 pcs.) Cut into slices of medium thickness.
- Finely chop a small bunch of fresh dill. Add the grated cheese (2 - 3 tbsp. L.) And mix all the ingredients.
- Put the filling on the tortillas, fold them in half, squeeze the edges well and fry in heated butter on both sides.
Did you know? To prevent the cakes from opening when frying, carefully roll the edges with a beaten egg before folding.
