Step cooking
- For cooking meat in French, you can use any meat. But the tastiest and juiciest is obtained from pork, chicken or turkey. Beef can be a little solid and less juicy. Pork should choose lean. I wash 700 g of meat under running water and cut into 1 cm thick plates. We beat off each piece of meat with a kitchen hammer on each side so that it becomes softer, more tender, and cooks faster.
- Prepared meat, salt and pepper to taste from all sides. While the meat is slightly pickled, prepare the remaining ingredients.
- We cut one large onion into thin half rings or rings, it will give the meat an additional taste and aroma. Cut vegetables the way you like.
- Two medium-sized tomatoes are also cut into half rings. Tomato will give meat juiciness and taste. Instead of a tomato, you can use canned pineapple slices.
- 200 g of any hard cheese with a coarse grater. It is advisable to choose a flavorful and well-melting cheese.
- When all the components for the dish are prepared, we proceed to its formation. Lubricate the baking sheet with a small amount of odorless vegetable oil.
- Put the chopped onion in the first layer. For satiety dishes, you can add sliced potatoes, it is placed onion.
- On top of the onion we lay out chopped pieces of meat. The next layer lay out the chopped tomatoes. Adjust the amount of ingredients for each layer as you wish.
- Next, grease the tomato about 1 tbsp. l mayonnaise. Sprinkle liberally with grated cheese.
- Thus we collect all pieces of meat. We send the pan to the preheated oven to 200 degrees to the middle level. Bake the dish until cooked for about 30 minutes. Cooking time depends on your oven. The meat should be completely cooked, soft, and the cheese should be well browned. We lay out the finished meat in French on plates, decorate with any greens if desired and serve. Any garnish is suitable for this dish: mashed potatoes, pasta, vegetable salad, rice.
