Step cooking
Today we will prepare berry juice from frozen berries. Summer passed quickly, but caring housewives probably managed to stockpile various fruits and berries in the summer by sending them to the freezer. For our drink, you can apply any ingredients that you have.
I'll make a fruit drink from strawberries, black and red currants, blackberries. Such mixed juices were prepared in ancient times, craftsmen treated people at fun fairs, on holidays.
- The first thing we must do is unfreeze the berries. We take them out of the freezer, put them in clean salad bowls. Each species is placed separately from each other, left to defrost at room temperature.
- When the berries thaw, wash them under cold running water, put in a colander to remove the liquid. In a separate bowl we send 250 grams of strawberries, then 250 grams of black currants, after it 250 grams of blackberries, finally 150 grams of red currants. Take a hand blender, beat the berries in mashed potatoes.
- In a separate bowl through a sieve we pass the mixture to remove the seeds. We do not throw out the cake, save it.
- After the seeds are removed, put the cake in a pan, add 1.5 liters of water and 3 tablespoons of sugar. You can not add it, but I'm adding. This amount of sugar is enough to make the fruit drink not very acidic.
- We mix the whisk or spoon with the resulting mixture, put on medium heat, bring to a boil. Cook for no more than five minutes, cover the pan with a lid, wait for it to cool.
- After cooling, we filter the brewed drink through a sieve, add the finished juice from the berries, mix thoroughly with a whisk. Our berry juice is now ready.
- Pour it into glasses, put cocktail tubes, decorate glasses with multi-colored marmalades. Our product is ideal for relaxing with friends, guests, to meet relatives. It can be served warm or cold.
