Ingredients
- Pear - 150 g
- White sugar - 330 g
- Orange - 3 pcs.
- Nuts - 80 g
- Flour - 340 g
- Cinnamon - 1.5 tsp.
- Nutmeg - 1 tsp.
- Soda - 8 g
- Vegetable oil - 245 ml
- Eggs - 4 pcs.
- Carrots - 275 g
- Brown Sugar - 200 g
Step cooking
- In a bowl with a thick bottom, send 40 g of sugar and 150 g of peeled and finely chopped pear. Put the bowl on the fire and cook the ingredients until the sugar dissolves.
- Pass the jam through a colander. We’ll no longer need jam liquid.
- Next, peel the peel of 3 oranges and cut into strips.
- Put the zest in a bowl with a thick bottom, add water and bring to a boil. Then drain the water and repeat 2 more times. This is necessary to remove bitterness from the zest.
- Next to the boiled zest, add 40 g of sugar and the juice of one orange. Cook everything until cooked. We also pass the finished mass through a colander.
- Cook the nuts in caramel. To do this, put 50 g of sugar and 80 g of nuts in a stewpan with a thick bottom. Place the components on the stove. Stir and fry until the nuts are covered with clear caramel. Put the finished nuts on a silicone mat, and let them cool. Try to make sure that they do not touch each other.
- Grasp the dough. In a mixer bowl, mix 245 ml of vegetable oil, 200 g of white sugar and 200 g of brown sugar. Turn on the mixer and start one egg at a time. All you need to thoroughly knead 4 eggs.
- In a separate bowl, combine 340 g of sifted flour, 1.5 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. nutmeg and 8 g of soda. Mix all this thoroughly with a whisk. Then add flour to the bowl of the mixer and knead the dough. All this will take you at least 3-4 minutes.
- Add the pear and orange filling to the dough, as well as 275 g of grated carrots. Mix everything.
- Divide the finished dough into 3 forms and lay the nuts in caramel on top.
- Place all three forms in an oven preheated to 155 degrees for 45 minutes. Lay the finished cakes on the net and let them cool completely.
- Then all the cakes are wrapped in cling film and sent to the refrigerator for one night. The next day you have to collect the cake. Cut off the tops so that it is even, and then use any cream to combine all three parts.
