Preparatory stage
- It is good to clean the previously thawed fish (2 carcasses), take out all the insides, remove the black films, cut the fins. Chop the carcass into batch pieces. It turns out about 3-4 pieces from one piece.
- Salt the chopped fish and pepper to taste, mix with spices.
- Peel one onion, cut into small cubes or quarters.
- Cut the tomato into a small dice.
- Grate one carrot on the large side of the grater.
Cooking stage
- Heat 20-30 ml of vegetable oil in a pan, put pollock there.
- Fry pieces on all sides until golden crust appears on high heat.
- After frying, put on a plate pre-laid with a paper towel. Sauté the onion over medium heat for 5 minutes in the same oil where the fish was fried.
- Add carrots, and after 2 minutes tomatoes. Do not forget to constantly mix the ingredients.
- After 5 minutes, pour in four tablespoons of sour cream, two tablespoons of tomato paste, and stir.
- Put pollock on top, mix gently with gravy and vegetables. Leave stewing under a closed lid for 10 minutes.
- The dish is ready! Braised pollock in sour cream and tomato sauce turned out to be tender, nourishing and fragrant.
Submission methods
The best side dish for stewed fish is rice, buckwheat or mashed potatoes. Sour cream and tomato paste sauce goes well with any porridge, so experiment. For an effective serving, decorate the finished dish with sprigs of dill or sprinkle with chopped ones on top. Take a bite of a slice of white or black bread, spread with butter.
