Step cooking
- We clean, wash, remove the skin, separate from the bones and cut into large pieces 600 grams of pollock. You can take a frozen product, but before cooking it will need to be thawed.
- We clean, wash and cut into cubes of medium size 6-7 potatoes.
- Peel one onion and one carrot. We wash the vegetables and cut the carrots into circles, and onions in a small cube.
- We take four clean baking pots, and lay out an equal amount of chopped potatoes on the bottom of each.
- Next, put onions and carrots.
- Then we lay out a layer of pollock equally in each pot and add 15 grams of vegetable oil and a little salt to taste.
- In a deep container, mix 200 grams of sour cream and 300 grams of clean warm water. Add black ground pepper and seasonings for the fish to taste.
- Mix all the ingredients and fill equally in each pot. If necessary, add some water.
- We put the pots in a cold oven and turn it on 200 degrees Celsius. There is no need to preheat the oven, otherwise the dishes may burst due to a sharp temperature drop.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes, remove from the oven, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and serve.
Decoration methods and serving options
- Of course, if you cook this dish exactly in such dishes, as indicated in the recipe, then it must be served in it. Decorating pollock in pots is not particularly necessary. You can sprinkle it with chopped fresh herbs.
- If you want to nourish a meal, grate 150 grams of hard cheese on a coarse grater and pour into each pot five minutes before being cooked.
- You can also use other dishes for cooking, for example, a glass dish with baking sides. In this case, the dish will be served in portions.
- It will be possible to decorate it as the soul and imagination wish. For example, you can beautifully chop fresh vegetables, and put them on a plate.
- Served pollock with potatoes exclusively in hot form.
- The fish goes well with fresh vegetable salads and pickled vegetables.
