  • Fresh mussels - 1 kg
  • White wine - 50-100 ml
  • Garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste - 100 ml

Step cooking

  1. Rinse and peel 1 kg of mussels from sand and algae. First, mussels should be thoroughly washed with algae.
  2. Cover the bottom of the pan with white wine. Pour white wine into the pan to the bottom.
  3. Put the mussels in a pan. Put the mussels into the wine.
  4. Set the maximum temperature on the comfort of the hob and put your mussels on it. Cover and let it boil. We put the mussels in the wine on the stove and let them boil.
  5. While mussels are boiling, chop 2-3 cloves of garlic, 1 onion. Chop garlic and onion.
  6. Remove ready-made mussels with open leaves from the heat. Mussels boil, remove them from the fire.
  7. Put a frying pan on the fire and pour olive oil into it. Heat the olive oil in a pan.
  8. Heat the oil and place the onions and garlic on the frying pan. Fry onion with garlic in olive oil.
  9. Add 100 ml of tomato paste and 20-30 ml of white wine to the fried onions and garlic. Mix everything thoroughly. Add tomato paste and white wine to the vegetables.
  10. Open the mussel leaf fully and separately set the mussel leaf. We open the mussel leaves.
  11. Put the separated leaves with mussels in a ready-made tomato sauce, which you have not had time to remove from the heat. Simmer all together for 5-7 minutes under a closed lid. We spread the mussels in tomato sauce and simmer for a few more minutes under the lid.
  12. Serve the finished dish to the table, decorating it with half a lemon. Mussels in tomato sauce can be served with lemon.
